Bio:
My name is Oscar. I am from Puerto Rico. I lived in Miami for over 20 years, and now I get to call South Philly my home! I am an ISSA certified, experienced, Fitness, and Youth Coach. I am also a certified “GOATA” coach. I love the continuing educational aspect of this industry within its specific fields. I believe in its long-term compounding effects, not just in my career, but my daily life. I have worked as a P.E. elementary teacher, an at-risk youth counselor, a team building sports coach, a strength & mobility trainer, and an obstacle race coach, among other things. My passion is knowing I get to be the catalyst for people’s physical and mental transformations. I believe with all my heart that fitness is more than how you look, it’s a way of being, and a lifestyle. It saves and transforms lives, as it did mine. I am also passionate about being healthy, happy, and living a life of valuable service to others.

Fun facts about me: I live in a “garden-crib” (I’m a plant dad), I used to be a dog trainer, I’ve slept inside a volcano, I believe pineapple goes well on pizza and, many moons ago (back in 1997), I was a cast member in an action-adventure, traveling-reality show, for MTV! Also… Go Birds!
